A gold ring
Thing of beauty and joy forever
For the one and only
My sweetheart
For I, the sun, loves thee.
Accept thine proposal, thy love!
Earth:
Ah, thank you dear sun
Why thou make me wait so long
For the love thee have showered
But between us now is present,
The night king, the moon so bright
Declaring his love!
Sun:
On hearing such a note by thy love
He takes his revenge by having a lunar eclipse
Over the moon, blocking it, and says
Moon shines by my grace,
Does he better me?
Am I not suited for thee?
Earth:
The earth looked at him, eyes narrowed, she said
A lady's heart leads thy way
Pure love is what thou want
Thy love I cannot ignor
And infidelic I am not
The final tribute has been made!
Sun:
Proud and smug, he asked:
Accomplice thy moon!
O' lill one, how could thee, demand of me,
Such a deed, when all world knows it's true
I am the king of the day!
O' how could you propose to thy Earth?
Moon:
Moon looked at him with twinkling eyes,
I never knew thee loved!
Why keep such a thing a secret
Those sensible words mentioned by thine lips,
I respcet!
But the king of night needs thy love as well
